Ok, so in 2 days and a wake up I will be leaving for China. Its strange because I still don't feel like I'm going anywhere, least of all halfway around the world for 4 months!
One thing for sure is that I am greatly going to miss my parents and boyfriend. Excitement is the most noticable emotion, though I won't pretend that leaving the ones I love for longer than I ever have before isn't intimidating. But I believe sepreation truly does make the heart grow fonder.
I finished packing officially today! Everything is set aside in my one suitcase and one back pack and it still seems like its not enough for such a long trip...
(Side note: I suppose I should explain the title of this blog to my friends and family...
G.O. stands for Global Outreach, a program at A.C. for students to study abroad.)
I pre-apologize to any avid blog readers that may have expectations, because I have never done a blog before so this is all very new. With that being said I do want people to know what's going on on my trip and also hope that I can be a good enough story teller to inspire others to experience other cultures.
Bye for now! And I will post again once my trip officially sets off! :)
